eQur is dedicated to helping people with type 2 diabetes stay on track and in control of their disease by developing and commercializing advanced insulin delivery systems that can be easily integrated into daily life. CeQur's lead product candidate is a small, wearable insulin delivery device that delivers both basal and bolus doses subcutaneously. Its simple and discrete design enables patients to more easily comply with insulin regimens and experience the benefits of intensive insulin therapy, all while remaining free from the discomfort and inconvenience of multiple daily injections. CeQur, Ltd. was established in January 2008 as a spin-out from Danfoss A/S, a large, global Danish industrial products group that developed the initial concept and early prototypes of the CeQur technology.
