Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most aggressive and fatal brain cancer, with a median survival of just 15 months. We have developed a dual-action CAR-T cell therapy for GBM, targeting the tumor directly while secreting a CD47-blocker to reprogram macrophages and mount a coordinated immune attack against the tumor. With our therapy, we expect increased survival rates and significantly reduced side effects compared to standard-of-care treatments and other new product developments (e.g. ADCs). Our program is on track for IMPD submission and first-in-human (FIH) clinical trial initiation in 2026. The company is a spin-off from University of Basel.
