When furnishing our home, we always agreed that there should be very little technology in the living room - but great sound. Large speakers, ugly soundbars and 5.1 or 7.1 systems that fill the entire room with speakers were out of the question. The living room is for living and therefore excellent sound must also fit our design ideas. The design ideas of most media furniture did not convince us too. We also want to see as few cables as possible and devices like a CD player should have their place. Streaming should also be possible, which is why the Soundboard should be an active speaker.
