Development and commercialisation of a novel, environmentally friendly approach to ammonia production. Ammonia production is one of the dirtiest chemical processes in use today, accounting for 2% of global energy consumption and 1.3% of global CO2 emissions. At plasNifix, we are developing a novel, low temperature plasma-based ammonia production solution, requiring 40% less energy and which can be run exclusively with green energy at zero carbon emissions.The company has just been incorporated in Zurich, in phase of product development, has not received any outside investment yet and still has no sales so far, as discussed in the call with Philip Hassler on January 6th.
