About Embodied AI: Embodied AI SA is a Lausanne-based robotics startup building safe, AI-powered robots for real-world work.
Role: As a Design Engineer, you help design and develop the mechanical and hardware aspects of the company's robots, taking concepts from prototype to robust, working systems. You collaborate closely with software, robotics and ML engineers to ensure the physical platform meets real-world deployment requirements.
Responsibilities: design mechanical components and assemblies for robotic systems; build and test prototypes; iterate on designs based on real-world testing; and contribute to manufacturing and integration of the hardware platform.
Profile: solid mechanical/design engineering background; hands-on prototyping experience; familiarity with robotics or mechatronics; collaborative, iterative mindset comfortable in a fast-moving deep-tech startup.
